You Good?
Men’s Mental Health Campaign

Social Media Toolkit

Men’s mental health is often overlooked, misunderstood, or left unspoken, yet the need for support is real and growing in Frederick County. According to our LHIP Mental Health Workgroup’s 2025 “You Good?” men’s mental health survey, many men in our community are quietly carrying stress related to finances, family responsibilities, immigration, work, and more. Too many feel pressure to stay strong, stay silent, and push through it alone.

At Healthier Frederick, we believe mental health is health and that every man deserves the space, support, and tools to take care of his well-being. Our mental health priorities center around reducing stigma, increasing awareness of resources, and creating a community where reaching out for help is seen as a sign of strength, not weakness.

This social media toolkit was designed to help you share that message. Each week highlights a different theme, from opening up and connecting with others, to recognizing stress and navigating expectations. These posts are meant to spark conversation, normalize men’s experiences, and remind our community that no one has to navigate mental health challenges alone.

Inside the toolkit, you’ll find ready-to-use graphics and key messages/captions for yourself, your friends, and your audience. Whether you’re a partner organization, a community member, or someone who wants to encourage the men in your life, we invite you to share these posts and help build a Frederick County where men feel seen, supported, and understood.

Thank you for helping us create a healthier, more connected Frederick County.
