The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Public Input Session, hosted in partnership with the Frederick County Health Department, Frederick Health, and the Coalition for a Healthier Frederick County, invites you to share your insights to help shape Frederick County’s health priorities over the next 3-year Local Health Improvement Process (LHIP) cycle.
The event will take place on Wednesday, January 22 from 9:00am - 12:00pm at the Frederick Health Village. This will be a hybrid event. The snow date is Tuesday, January 28 from 9:00am - 12:00pm, same time and location.
Based on primary and secondary data, the four identified pressing health issues in Frederick County that will be discussed, along with the subject matter expert who will be speaking on each, are as follows:
Racial Equity and Justice: Dr. Denise Rollins, Founder, Whole Heart Center, and Danielle Haskin, Director, Frederick County Health Department’s Equity Office
Housing: Vincent Rogers, Director, Frederick County Division of Housing
Food/Nutrition: Alysia Feuer, Executive Director, Farm to School Frederick
Mental Health/Social Isolation: Andrea Walker, Director of Behavioral Health Services, Frederick County Health Department and Suzi Borg, Director of Crisis Services Division, Mental Health Association of Frederick County
