Pride Month 2024 was kicked into full-effect with From the Heart’s jam-packed event, Colors of Pride! Hosted by Transformative Arts Project in partnership with The Frederick Center, Colors of Pride invited and encouraged all community members to embrace themselves and what makes them, them. The event incorporated art, including clay face making, poetry, and dance workshops, to empower individuals to creatively express themselves and challenge their artistic limits.

Resources and support were graciously offered from The Frederick Center, Community of Grace Organization, Frederick County Public Libraries, and UNESCO BMW. Colors of Pride was a beautiful, lasting reminder of the power of art to bring together people from all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life. Let’s continue this journey of breaking down barriers and uplifting each and every voice in our community together!
