CHNA Public Input Session Recap: We Want to Hear From You!

We are so glad that over 160 community members could join us at the January 22 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Public Input Session, hosted in partnership by the Coalition, Frederick County Health Department, and Frederick Health! With a delicious breakfast provided by Wegmans and crisp apples donated from Catoctin Mountain Orchard, we were energized and ready to discuss all things health in Frederick County.

Participants had the opportunity to learn more about and discuss the pressing health issues in our community identified from the 2025 CHNA report, which will be published in March 2025. These issues were expanded upon by our amazing subject matter experts:

  • Racial Equity and Justice: Dr. Denise Rollins, Whole Heart Center, and Danielle Haskin, Frederick County Health Department

  • Housing: Vincent Rogers, Frederick County Division of Housing

  • Food/Nutrition: Alysia Feuer, Farm to School Frederick

  • Mental Health/Social Isolation: Andrea Walker, Frederick County Health Department, and Suzi Borg, Mental Health Association of Frederick County

Please complete our Input Form below to help the Coalition, Frederick County Health Department, and Frederick Health identify what health issues in Frederick County should be prioritized throughout the 2025-2028 Local Health Improvement Process (LHIP) cycle. This form is anonymous and available in English and Spanish.

Deadline to submit CHNA Input Form: Friday, January 31

Although it is not required, we encourage you to check out the session recording and presentation slides below to help you complete the form.
